Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous QA Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of quality assurance tests and inspections to ensure all products meet our high-quality standards before reaching the customer.
Job Type: Full-Time, B Shift
- Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Schedule: Alternating weekly schedule (Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday)
Compensation:
- $17/hr. for candidates with no prior experience
- $20/hr. for candidates with relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine measurement testing on products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Conduct tensile strength testing using designated equipment.
- Perform occasional aqua, creep, and burst tests as needed.
- Read and interpret product specifications and work order instructions accurately.
- Measure and inspect products dimensionally, using tools such as a ruler or tape measure, to the 16th of an inch.
- Document inspection results and prepare simple production reports.
- Identify and set aside any defective or non-conforming products.
- Communicate any quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S , DT and BG check.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of prior QA experience OR machine operator experience that included dimensional measurement inspections.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to fluently speak and understand verbal instructions in English..
- Strong near and mid-range vision for data entry and detailed hand motions.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds without assistance.
