We're hiring a Controls Engineer to join our Pennsylvania-based team, working on high-speed production equipment and complex industrial systems. This is a hands-on, engineering-led role where you'll see projects through from concept and design to startup and optimization—not just sit behind a desk.
You'll be part of a collaborative environment that values technical depth, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, with exposure to modern automation technologies and real ownership of your work.
Why this role?

- Use modern Rockwell-based control platforms, HMIs, and SCADA systems
- Gain exposure to capital projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, maintenance, and leadership teams
- Build strong technical and client-facing skills with room to grow
- Join a team that values engineering judgment, safety, and quality over quick fixes
What you'll be doing
- Design and implement control systems for industrial machinery and processes
- Architect control systems and select hardware/software solutions
- Program and support PLCs, DCS, and RTUs (primarily Rockwell)
- Develop and maintain HMI and SCADA applications for operators and engineers
- Create and update electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD
- Troubleshoot and improve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems
- Support system checkouts, startups, and commissioning at internal and customer sites
- Lead or contribute to small capital projects and improvement initiatives
- Apply functional safety and risk-based machine design best practices
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
