Our client is hiring a Technical Writer! Join a nationally recognized leader in critical-care aviation where your work directly supports life-saving missions every day. You'll collaborate with highly skilled engineering and operations teams in a stable, mission-driven environment that values precision, safety, and innovation.
Location: 100% Remote: Can go in office if you are located in the Denver, CO area
Employment Type: 3–6 Month Contract, with possible conversion to full-time.
Hourly: $40-$43, W2
Benefits: All contractors are offered medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD during the contract period.
Required Qualifications
• Strong proficiency with Adobe FrameMaker (structured and unstructured)
• Experience with XML authoring, structured documentation, and EDD management
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks EPDM or similar configuration management/document control systems
• Ability to interpret engineering data and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and document quality
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, certification, and quality teams
• Experience updating audits, manuals, and documentation within a regulated or compliance-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience creating and managing technical illustrations
• Prior involvement in process improvement or tool evaluation
• Background in aviation documentation or FAA-regulated environments is a plus
