Junior Estimator

Our client is hiring a Junior Estimator! We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to support our clients estimating team as we transition from paper-based estimating to a centralized bid management system. This role involves reviewing handwritten construction bids, interpreting project details, and accurately entering data into the new software. The ideal candidate has experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or a similar role that requires accuracy and attention to detail.

Location: Erie, CO (on-site, Monday–Friday)

Duration: 3–6 months contract

Hourly: $27-$30, W2 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Review handwritten construction bids and transfer data into the bid management software
• Verify accuracy and completeness of estimates and quantities entered
• Identify and resolve missing or unclear project information
• Collaborate with estimators and project managers for clarification and accuracy
• Maintain organized digital records of completed transitions

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data entry tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings or bid documents preferred
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
