We are launching an exciting math intervention initiative in Sacramento, and we’re looking for a part-time Math Tutor to work directly with students.

This role is perfect for:

• Math tutors

You’ll support small groups of students, help strengthen their math foundations, and bring the Innovamat learning experience to life. It’s a rare chance to make an immediate impact while gaining valuable hands-on teaching experience inside a forward-thinking project.

• Teach and support students in small-group math intervention sessions.
• Bring math to life using manipulatives, activities, and conceptual learning.
• Build confidence and spark curiosity in students who need extra support.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students progress.
• Learn and model effective math teaching practices using Innovamat’s curriculum.
• Be part of an inspiring, supportive education team.

You Are Someone Who🔍

• Has experience tutoring or teaching students (in school, university programs, after-school settings, or privately).
• Enjoys working with kids and helping them grow academically.
• Loves math — or loves teaching math — and wants to get even better at it.
• Communicates clearly, warmly, and confidently.
• Brings positivity, patience, and energy into the classroom.
• Is excited to learn new methods and be part of an innovative project.
• Bonus points if you’ve studied math, education, child development, or a related field!
