Location: New York

Start Date: ASAP | Full-Time

Are you a growth-minded leader who wants to transform the education sector and see students become passionate about mathematics in the US? Do you want to be part of a leading team that works with educational leaders in the country to prepare students for the future? If so, read on 🙌.

About Innovamat 🚀

Innovamat is the leading global K-12 edtech startup that brings the cutting-edge science of math learning and teaching to the classroom. We have built a unique PreK-8 math curriculum, backed by robust research and loved by 18,000 teachers worldwide, to structurally change the way students learn by leaving the textbook and workbook behind.

Join our US team as a core expansion team member to build world-class math classrooms with students ready for the future. Our all-in-one product ecosystem offers a range of resources from manipulatives to a self-adaptive practice app so teachers can focus on what they do best: facilitate and develop students (instead of lecturing and wasting time on non-pedagogical tasks).

Our Team 🏢

We are more than 320 Math Education enthusiasts in 9 countries. To date, we have reached 2,300 schools with more than 490,000 students and 21,500 teachers who love to work with the Innovamat curriculum. We are headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, and have offices across our countries. In the US, we are a hybrid team with members in New York, California, and growing in Chicago and other locations. Our school network is already in 5 states and growing every month.

You Are Ready To 🎯

  • Play a vital role in our growth in the US as a pioneer and bring your passion for education and teaching.
  • Work in a high-paced environment while making a meaningful impact in classrooms across your region.
  • Bring our program to school districts, leading meeting generation and procurement.
  • Develop and execute effective Go-to-Market tactics.
  • Navigate early-stage market constraints and go the extra mile as part of our supportive, ambitious small team.
  • If you love building relationships with those who make a real difference in our schools (administrators, teachers) and are driven by creating long-term partnerships with school districts, get ready to be at the leading edge of this science-first educational change!

What You Will Do 🏁

  • Build a strong network of administrators in our target states and divisions across US.
  • Generate meaningful interactions with district-level administrators through various channels (cold outreach, conferences, webinars, referrals) and drive discovery meetings.
  • Manage the sales process from A to Z to master it and lead by example.
  • Conduct product demonstrations (hands-on and math-focused, not product features-oriented).
  • Support in the assessment and application of RFPs and state adoptions.
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders throughout the sales process, and negotiate and close deals, all the way through to procurement.

You Have 🔍

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a growth-oriented, front-facing position in the curriculum space or education, with demonstrated experience with school districts in the state.
  • Expertise in creating meaningful relationships and generating opportunities with district-level administrators, or equivalent.
  • A knack for speaking and connecting with teachers. Educator-to-educator communication skills are fundamental for thriving in this role.
  • A genuine passion for math and education (and for improving traditional methods).
  • A hands-on approach to your work, understanding that our mission requires a lot of building from scratch.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset capable of thinking outside the box and excited about the challenges of an early stage.
  • Willingness to travel (30 - 50% of your work week) and visit schools and classrooms in your region.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have…

  • Experience in math through your education or career.
  • Experience in going from 0 to 1 (in a product or market), perhaps while working at a startup.
  • An existing network with K-12 education.
  • Experience as a teacher, ideally at an elementary school.

Why Join Innovamat

  • Impact: Transform how thousands of students learn math. Be part of our early-stage expansion team in the US that is on track to be the industry leader!
  • Growth: No ceiling — your career scales with your results.
  • Movement: More than a job — be part of an education transformation.
  • Team: Join passionate, mission-driven colleagues.
  • Compensation: Competitive package $90K base salary ($140k OTE) 5% 401k match.
  • Benefits: Health, dental, vision; laptop phone; travel covered; generous PTO incl. an additional holiday week in Christmas
