A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr Product Owner
Position type: Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location:- 3 days onsite role at Charlotte, NC
As a Sr Product Owner, you will:
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working across data lineage and architecture. They are able to simplify complexity, provide clarity across dependencies, and ensure data is reliable, accessible, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of data acquisition and data lake capabilities.
- Understand and manage end-to-end data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
- Partner closely with engineering, architecture, analytics, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Proactively identify dependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities across data pipelines.
- Ensure strong governance, data quality, and lineage tracking across the ecosystem.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly and proactively to stakeholders.
Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of enterprise data ecosystems, including data pipelines, APIs, and distributed data architecture.
- Ability to analyze and work directly with data using SQL and other analytical tools to validate and inform decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive data-driven, informed decision-making through deep understanding of data analytics concepts and practices.
- Clear ownership mindset with a reputation for reliability, proactive communication, and follow-through.
- Solid judgement, curiosity, and problem-solving ability in complex data environments.

Pay Range*: $74- $75 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
