A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Software Engineer – Hogan.
Position type: Contract (12 months w/ extension)
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Columbus, OH/ Minneapolis, MN
Hybrid (3 days onsite/ 2 day remote)
As a Senior Software Engineer – Hogan, you will:
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Provide automation-first solutions for Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, and Hogan Deposits systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, SQL, REXX, SORT utilities, DB2, and IMS.
- Collaborate with analysts, testers, and operations teams throughout the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and production incidents independently.
- Support enterprise initiatives such as Data Center Migration with remediation tasks and change request approvals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Hogan mainframe systems (CIS, Umbrella, Deposits).
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, SQL, REXX, SORT utilities, DB2, and IMS.
- Ability to debug independently and resolve production issues.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work at enterprise scale.
- Experience managing change requests through full lifecycle.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $65 - $70 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
