Volt is immediately hiring for Infrastructure Engineer - AURORA, CO
What You Will Do
- Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure
- Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines
- Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and other agile development teams to design and implement robust platform solutions
- Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management
- Provide operational support for the platform
12 month fulltime contract with potential for hire
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Required Skills
- Bachelor s degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics, plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5 years of related work experience
- Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C , C#, Go)
- Experience with RedHat Linux
Preferred Skills
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab)
- Experience troubleshooting applications and infrastructure services on Linux-based operating systems
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef
- Experience developing, testing, and delivering applications within a DevSecOps framework
- Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (Security CE or equivalent)
Pay Range: $90.00 - $ 100.00 per hour.
