Job Description: Billing Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure quality care while adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a strong understanding of Medicare billing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on special billing projects assigned by management
- Preparing, submitting, and following up on claims
- Following up on denied or unpaid claims including appeals and resubmissions
- Monitoring and reconciling claims, denials, and remittances
- Overseeing all billing processes related to Medicare services
- Maintain accurate billing processes and documentation standards
- Assist in fellow teammates absence
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- Healthcare experience recommended

- 1-3 years of experience in a related billing position
