The Opportunity
Innova NW is bringing its proven platform to the Seattle market and we’re looking for a sharp, driven Account Executive to lead the charge. You’ll step in with access to an existing book of relationships and key accounts from day one — but make no mistake, we’re looking for a hunter. Those existing relationships are a foundation, not a safety net. The expectation is that you’ll hit the ground running, bring your own network to the table, and aggressively grow the territory.


Seattle is a priority growth market for us. The right person will shape how we show up here — and as the market grows, so does the role. We see a clear path from Account Executive to senior leadership for someone who performs and wants to grow with us.

We serve commercial, government, education, and enterprise clients across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, with offices in McMinnville, Portland, Eugene, and Bend. Growth Potential
We’re building something in Seattle and we want this person to grow with it. Because our local infrastructure is still developing, you’ll have more direct involvement in the installation and technical side of projects than a typical Account Executive role and we see that as a feature, not a footnote. It means you’ll develop deep product and system knowledge, earn client trust faster, and be better positioned to lead as the market matures. Strong performers earn expanded territory, key account ownership, and increasing influence over how the Seattle operation is structured. We promote from within.


Responsibilities

  • Own and grow an assigned portfolio of key accounts from day one
  • Bring an existing network and actively develop new relationships — you’re expected to hunt, not just manage
  • Build and maintain relationships with mid-size to enterprise-level commercial clients
  • Develop business with state and local government, healthcare facilities, schools, and universities
  • Foster relationships with General and Electrical Contractors for project pipeline
  • Generate new leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and marketing channels
  • Work with estimators to develop and present custom proposals
  • Provide hands-on support during installations and commissioning — especially in the early stages of market development
  • Present and sell Electronic Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Alarms, Fire/Life Safety Systems, IP-Based Intercoms, Mass Notification, Gunshot Detection, and other critical systems
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure high levels of client satisfaction


Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of B2B sales experience; security, fire, or low voltage industry strongly preferred
  • Hunter mindset with an existing book of relationships in the Seattle/Pacific Northwest market
  • Technical aptitude and comfort with low voltage systems.  Hands-on installation experience is a genuine plus but not required
  • Proven track record closing commercial or enterprise-level accounts
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder — clients and GCs alike
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • CRM experience
  • Flexibility to respond to client needs as situations arise, including occasional field support
  • Professional presentation and exceptional attention to detail
  • Clean driving record and valid Washington State Driver’s License
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
