Role: Scrum Master
Location: Charlotte, NC
HYBRID (3 Days a week)
W2 ROLE - Need Locals ONLY
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead multiple Agile teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-impact products. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Agile frameworks, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to coach teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Delivery
Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement) for one or more teams
Ensure delivery of high-quality increments by removing blockers and promoting a culture of accountability
Track and communicate team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.)
Coaching & Leadership
Mentor Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices
Promote self-organization, collaboration, and continuous learning
Coach teams on effective estimation, prioritization, and backlog management
Support adoption of Agile and Lean principles across the organization
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ensure alignment with business goals, timelines, and product strategy
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for process optimization and lead improvement initiatives
Implement tools and practices that increase efficiency and product quality
Foster a culture focused on transparency, feedback, and experimentation
Cross-Team Coordination
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Release Managers, and Program Managers to ensure cross-team synchronization
Support Agile Release Train (ART) events, PI Planning, and SAFe ceremonies if applicable
Help manage dependencies and risks across the organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role
Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery practices
Experience leading multiple teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Proficiency with Agile tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne, or equivalent
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), PSM II/III, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent
Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
