We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to build and enhance secure, high-performance mobile applications for a leading Financial Services client. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern Android development, scalable architecture, and Agile delivery.
Core Skills
- 8 years of experience in native Android application development using Kotlin and Java.
- Strong expertise in Jetpack Compose, MVVM Architecture, Android Architecture Components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Retrofit, OkHttp, JSON parsing, and backend integrations.
- Experience building secure, scalable banking or financial services mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, UI/UX, Material Design, RecyclerView, Fragments, and responsive mobile development.
- Experience with Firebase, Git, Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in unit testing and debugging using JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, ADB, and Logcat.
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating with Product Owners, UX, QA, and cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.
