INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in Huntington Beach, CA is looking for a CRM Account Executive to join our Hyundai team.  We don't just look for fresh talent; we look for fresh thinkers!

We are a hybrid workplace, x3 days week in-office.  Local candidates only.

The CRM Account Executive is primarily responsible for managing Hyundai day-to-day marketing deliverables to ensure client expectations are met at a customer engagement marketing agency.

Must have the ability to manage multiple projects on their own. Project management skills and creative process are second nature to Account Executives. Through the application of their project management and CRM skills, they are responsible for meeting client deliverables.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Relationship Management & Thought Leadership

  • Serve as day-to-day liaison within the agency and with daily client contacts to manage assigned deliverables
  • Support Account Director and/or Supervisor to implement strategic direction for designated clients, including annual planning in the form of:
    • Strategic direction
    • Creative development
    • Delivering campaign and program results
  • Working with strategic resources to deliver relevant analysis
  • Preparation of meeting materials to include but not limited to presentation management, content development and consolidation
  • Understand the client brand and creative direction to enable accurate communication within the agency to ensure on-brand creative executions in support of results-driven CRM
  • Foster strong relationships with key client and agency personnel
  • Ensure communication clarity, internally and to the client
  • Participate in the development of sound strategic recommendations based on clear understanding of client’s business to include but not limited to:
    • Competitive monitoring
    • Industry knowledge
    • Client objectives
  • Ability to provide thoughtful feedback to the creative team and also push back on clients as needed.

Operational Knowledge & Execution

  • Delivery of assigned projects including but not limited to creative development for direct mail, e-mails, SMS and other CRM projects
  • Coordinate work between the various departments of Innocean and client team members on all aspects of multiple simultaneous projects
  • Contribute to master specification development, program plans, and effectively deliver those internally and to the client
  • Generate detailed project schedules to manage and ensure on-time deliverables
  • Support Account Director and/or Supervisor to author, constructively edit, review and maintain documentation such as POVs, decks, strategy briefs, client memos, estimates, timelines and status reports
  • Learn and utilize all agency processes including but not limited to software tools
  • Prioritize simultaneous projects for self and team
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of all projects and documentation as related
  • Prepare project status reports and hold project status meetings with internal and external teams
  • Gain support and commitment from other departments and team members
  • Travel to clients is mandatory, but reimbursable

Financial Management

  • Support Account Director and/or Supervisor in developing, monitoring and maintaining annual budgets in support of individual campaigns or overall client relationship
  • Support Account Director and/or Supervisor in managing and monitoring client contract compliance and reconciliations
  • Track all categories of spending for projects and ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget for the purposes of annual budgeting efforts
Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years ad agency experience as an Account Coordinator or Assistant Account Executive.
  • CRM (customer journey) experience REQUIRED
  • Salesforce or similar platform experience PREFFERED
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be able to build productive relationships with clients and agency team members
  • Solid written and oral presentation skills required 
  • Excellent project management and ability to provide team leadership and strategic direction to diverse, multi-location groups and partner agencies
  • Flexible and accepting of ever-changing needs
  • Multi-tasking and ability to prioritize is a must
  • Strong analytic ability to interpret campaign results and apply to future recommendations
  • Experience managing client budgets, billing, timelines and other client fiscal management
  • Ability to inspire team members

The salary range for this role is $70,304 - $77,500.  Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
