The Nail Technician's typical job function's include:
- Providing consistent professional treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
- Properly caring for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
- Having complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas
- Actively promoting home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals
- Upholding the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
- Performing prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
- Communicating to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
- Actively promoting the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
- Handling guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Providing accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
- Communicating to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
- Possessing ability to work without direct supervision
- Regularly attending, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
- Assisting in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
This position might be for you if:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- You possess a current Michigan license
- You have previous spa, customer service, hospitality and or therapy experience
