Front Counter Customer Sales - Truck Parts

Inland Truck Parts & Service is now searching for a full-time team member, Monday-Friday, for our Parts Counter in North Platte, Nebraska. This position requires someone with a passion for excellent customer service and knowledge of heavy/light duty truck parts and hydraulics. Post-offer testing required, including drug testing.

Examples of daily tasks:

• Communicate courteously with customers over the counter & over the phone
• Ensure excellent internal/external customer service & communication

• Pull & bill parts
• Read & understand parts manuals / books
• Demonstrate basic tool & machine operation / knowledge
• Computer use
• Receive stock orders, purchase orders & transfers
• Part Delivery / Pick up
• Assist in inventory

Candidates must have a valid and clean drivers license and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain alert and attentive to job duties. You must be able to bend, stoop, twist, carry, push, pull, reach & lift overhead, and go up/down steps.

Due to the nature of the position and the potential impact of drug use on the individuals ability to perform job-related employment responsibilities and the safety of other employees, any offer of employment will be conditioned on a pre-employment post-offer drug test.
