Our People Operations team plays a vital role in supporting employees and ensuring operational excellence across our growing organization.Position SummaryAs a People Operations Specialist, you will provide critical HR support across onboarding, employee relations, compliance, documentation, and internal communication. You'll work directly with the People Operations Supervisor and staff across departments to maintain accurate HR records, respond to employee needs, and help implement HR policies and procedures. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented role for someone passionate about people and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientationSupport recruitment efforts: schedule interviews, screen candidates, and issue offer lettersMaintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and physical personnel filesManage employee separations: conduct exit interviews, process offboarding documentationAssist with resolving employee relations issues and concerns, in collaboration with HR leadershipObtain and update Conditions of Employment for Respite Care ProvidersEnforce and communicate company policies, safety standards, and disciplinary proceduresTrack and document incident reports, flagging trends and risk areasAssist in Workers' Compensation coordination, including tracking and stakeholder communicationRun HR-related reports and data analysis while ensuring confidentialityMaintain strong interdepartmental communication and employee supportProcess employee status changes, separations, and position updates accurately and timelyProvide daily HR support, answering employee questions and resolving routine issuesEscalate complex employee issues or patterns to the People Operations SupervisorParticipate in special projects and support department initiatives as neededSecondary ResponsibilitiesConduct New Hire Orientation as neededAttend job fairs and recruitment events on behalf of the organizationAssist in training and onboarding of new HR team membersProvide administrative support in other departments as assignedRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support roleKnowledge of employment law and compliance standards (e.g., EEO, ADA, FMLA, Cal-OSHA)Experience with employee documentation, onboarding, and HR file managementHigh degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalismSkilled in Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and cloud-based systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information in compliance with HIPAAStrong organization and time management skillsBilingual in English and Spanish (Required)Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportationWork Environment & Physical RequirementsOffice-based with occasional local travelFrequent sitting and use of a computerOccasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.Physical activities include walking, bending, and light travelMay be required to travel via plane, train, or carScheduling & AvailabilityStandard hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with a (1) hour lunch.Occasional extended hours based on workload and deadlinesFull-Time, hybrid scheduleWhy Join Inland Respite?Competitive SalaryHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays)401(k) Plan with Employer MatchMileage Reimbursement (when applicable)Ongoing Training & Development Supportive, Mission-Driven TeamCareer Growth OpportunitiesApply Today!Play a key role in supporting the people who make compassionate care possible.
