Overview
Support our small and growing congregation by providing child care during Sunday services and other events. The Inland Northwest Unitarian Universalist Community (INUUC) is seeking two reliable Child Caregivers to support our growing congregation. Child Caregivers will be responsible for providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children under the age of 10 years during our Sunday services and occasionally during congregational events.
The INUUC currently holds services and activities each Sunday at the Spokane Friends Meeting House at 1612 W Dalke Ave, Spokane. Childcare hours are expected between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. If no children are present, staff may be assigned general administrative duties or other support activities. This is a part-time position with an hourly pay range is $20-25/hour depending on qualifications.
To be successful, applicants should have a love for children, understand the principles of child development, and demonstrate the temperament needed for children to thrive.
