The Inland Northwest AGC is a dynamic nonprofit trade association representing the region’s commercial construction industry. We’re looking for a well-rounded Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help tell our story, strengthen our brand, and connect our members to the programs and services that help them succeed.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves both creative content and organized execution, who is equally comfortable writing a feature story, creating a social media campaign, or laying out an event flyer. You’ll collaborate with every department, crafting clear, consistent, and engaging communications that showcase the best of our industry and our members.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and manage digital and traditional communications, ensuring a consistent and engaging message across all platforms.
· Create and distribute member communications, including digital newsletters, event promotions, training updates, and announcements.
· Develop marketing campaigns that promote member benefits, events, training, and member value.
· Manage and grow our social media presence through creative storytelling and strategic content planning.
· Design marketing materials and visual content, including flyers, digital graphics, and presentations.
· Maintain and update website content (WordPress or similar CMS).
· Support public relations efforts, including media outreach and press releases.
· Prepare and submit award nominations and applications to regional and national organizations to showcase member and association achievements.
· Provide event marketing support, including coverage, photography, and recap content.
· Track engagement metrics and contribute to annual communications reporting and budgeting.
What We’re Looking For
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
· 3 years of relevant experience (association, nonprofit, or construction industry experience a plus).
· Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media management tools such as Hootsuite. Experience with LMS systems is a plus.
· Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS) preferred.
· Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across departments.

Work Environment
This is an in-office position based in Spokane, with limited flexibility to work remotely up to one day per week, depending on event schedules and office coverage.
