Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Event Specialist to join our dynamic team, dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences for our clients and their guests. As an Event Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and management of a wide array of events, ranging from corporate gatherings and trade shows to social occasions and community outreach activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events from start to finish, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources throughout the event lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients to understand their specific needs and expectations, providing exceptional customer service.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee event set-up and tear-down, ensuring all logistical elements run smoothly on the day of the event.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to promote events and increase attendance through various channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and vendors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary & Benefits
- Pay range: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
