As one of our Local Truck Drivers, you are much more than a driver—you are often the first face of InJoy that donors meet. Your kindness, professionalism, and servant’s heart help build relationships within our community while ensuring donated items safely reach our store.

What You’ll Do
- Safely operate an InJoy delivery truck while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Pick up donations from homes, businesses, churches, and community partners.
- Greet donors with warmth, kindness, and professionalism.
- Load, unload, and secure donations carefully to prevent damage.
- Help donors understand what items we are able to accept and graciously explain our donation guidelines.
- Plan and complete daily pickup routes efficiently.
- Work alongside team members during loading and unloading donations.
- Complete vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
- Keep the truck clean, organized, fueled, and ready for service.
- Report maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly to management.
- Represent InJoy’s mission with integrity and excellence throughout the community.

Qualifications
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous delivery or truck driving experience
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred but not required
- Experience loading and securing furniture or merchandise
- Experience operating hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks
- Excellent customer service experience
Required:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate a box truck or similar delivery vehicle
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Proficiency in using GPS and routing systems
- Strong verbal communication skills
- 3 years driving experience
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Day Shift
- Weekend availability
- Sunday Off
- 4-8-hour shifts
