Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former private equity, credit, investment banking, transaction advisory, risk consulting, or senior strategy professionals with 5 years of investment risk or diligence experience.
Lead Investment Risk & Diligence Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in investment analysis, diligence execution, or downside risk assessment.
Investment Risk & Diligence Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour

- Historical performance validation
- Market and competitive risk analysis
- Customer, supplier, and concentration risk review
- Operational scalability and execution risk assessment
- KPI benchmarking and variance analysis
- Risk-focused diligence sections for investment memos
- Red flag summaries and diligence findings reports
- Support for IC presentations and decision materials
How Analysts Start Earning
- Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
- Receive category-specific approvals (Risk Analysis, Due Diligence, Financial Review)
- Get verified on the platform
- Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal engagements
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
- Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
- Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Risk & Diligence Training
- Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Investment Risk & Diligence Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
- Visibility to investors and capital allocators
- Approved risk and diligence work categories
- Recommended hourly rates
- Eligibility for higher-impact, higher-complexity transactions
- Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
- Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
- Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
- Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
- Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
- Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, rigor, or compliance issues
Investment Risk & Diligence Analysts Do not:
- Provide investment advice
- Solicit securities
- Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
