Overview
We’re seeking experienced APPs, both NPs or PAs, to join our team at our facility in Alexandria, LA. These are a full-time, night shift or a mix of swing/nights Hospitalist APP positions in a 346-bed hospital.
Responsibilities
- Night Shift role, potential for swings/nights mix
- Admissions mainly, potential rounding on patients
- 12 hour shifts, 7p-7a
- Potential for PRN contract depending on availability
- 7 on 7 off or block schedule
- Support from Physicians and other APPs on staff
Skills/Requirements
- Must meet Louisiana requirements or ability to obtain licensure
- BC, must have 1 year or more experience
- Must be able to see all ages
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred

Physical Demands:
This physician/APP role requires stamina in fast-paced healthcare: prolonged standing/walking (8-12 hrs/shift); rapid emergency movement (sprints, crowds); lifting/carrying 25-50 lbs equipment; pushing/pulling 100 lbs (beds/carts) with aid; frequent bending/stooping/kneeling for care; constant reaching/fine motor skills (suturing/IVs); occasional climbing/balancing; tolerating stressors (temps, noise, fluids, hazards) during irregular shifts/on-call/infection risks—accommodations for disabilities; varies by setting (clinic/ER).

Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
