Coverage Area
South Monterey County including:
- Salinas
- Soledad
- Greenfield
- King City
- Surrounding communities
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during visits and document findings accurately
- Assist with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation goals
- Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety and home care strategies
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Nurses, Physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support patients in improving mobility, independence, and quality of life
Requirements
- Current California PTA License (Required)
- Current CPR Certification (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Current TB Clearance
- Ability to travel between patient homes throughout the day
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused mindset
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
- Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred, but not required
