The Mainframe Print Engineer aligned to Output Management Support is a member of the team responsible for configuring & supporting IBM and Third-Party print software running on the mainframe z/OS lpars. This includes installing patches or new versions of the software and helping maintain the high-speed print hardware. This team is also responsible for setting up monitoring/alerting for this equipment, as well maintaining print documentation & providing training as needed.
The Mainframe Print Engineer aligned to Output Management Support is a member of a team responsible for configuring & supporting Ricoh Process Director (RPD) Output Management software running on virtual Linux servers. This includes maintaining servers as Server Type Owner (STO), install and update RPD, and evaluating and maintaining high speed print hardware. This team is also responsible for setting up any Monitoring/Alerting for this equipment, as well as documentation & training.
This position requires configuration changes using Service Now to take place during approved change windows. Occasional off-shift work may be required. 24x7 on call support on a rotating basis is required.
