The Resident Life Services Coordinator supports a dynamic, person-centered environment by managing therapeutic services in a variety of ways. This role plans and facilitates Recreation Therapy programs, assists with Inglis House wide special events, oversees daily operations of the “Resident Worker Program, manages the vendors and operations in our in-house hair salon/barber shop, oversees daily operations of the “NOOK” our in-house convenience store, and processes all invoices for the Therapeutic & Life Enrichment department. Overall, this position helps ensure meaningful engagement, smooth operations, and enhanced quality of life for our residents at Inglis House.

What You'll Do
Essential Functions
- Provide timely and accurate communication to residents, staff, families, and visitors via the “Daily Schedules” in support of the Therapeutic & Life Enrichment (TLE) Director.
- Oversee the “Resident Worker Program” (a structured, therapeutic program within the Therapeutic & Life Enrichment department), including scheduling, monitoring electronic timecards, completing performance reviews, and ensuring adherence to program budget guidelines and compliance.
- Manage daily operations of the NOOK (on-site convenience store), including inventory control, supply ordering, budgeting (revenue and expenses), and supporting resident workers in store operations.
- Communicate regularly with the TLE Director regarding budget needs, operational issues, and business performance related to the NOOK.
- Support and facilitate structured Recreation Therapy programs. special events, and community outings on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with TLE staff to plan and execute special events and holiday celebrations using a person-centered care approach.
- Support the on-site hair salon “Sophisticuts” by coordinating with stylist vendors, assisting with scheduling, tracking resident services, and processing invoices.
- Ensure all vendors comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to organizational policies.
- Submit departmental purchasing requests through the business office system.
- Process invoices from TLE, NOOK, and hair salon vendors through the business office system.
- Assist residents with safe transportation to and from scheduled programs, events, and other activities as needed throughout the day.
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized and accredited institution in Therapeutic Recreation.
- Board certification required by The National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in Health Care setting.
