We are currently recruiting for an outgoing, fun-loving, creative individual to assist residents in our Activity Department. This position is responsible for assisting residents with activities at our nursing home including; musical entertainment, resident/family events, large and small group activities, as well as individual one-on-one visits. You and the other Activities Assistants, under supervision of the Activity Director will help facilitate programs that will reflect the varied interests of the residents, enhance their functional abilities and self-esteem, and provide them with meaningful, enriching activities to remain engaged, challenged and active through daily activities. Participation in recreational activities is one of the highlights of our residents' days.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator organizes, facilitates and provides activities according to the facility philosophy and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations. In collaboration with the Administrator, allocates resources in an efficient and economic manner to ensure each resident achieves the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. Our Activity Team is excited and ready to welcome you to Ingleside! This is a part-time position. We have the advantage of being small enough to provide personal care and attention to our residents and patients, while being large enough to provide you with support and flexibility you may need to balance your work and personal lives.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred
- Proven commitment to enhancing and enriching the lives of the elderly
- Must be literate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Pre-Employment Health and Drug Screen
- Background/Criminal check
