About The Role
Under the general direction of the administrator and in compliance with established policies, procedures, and practices, provides administrative and operational support to the department.
This position supports departmental operations through coordination of meetings and events, purchasing and budget processes, contract and renewal tracking, vendor communication, and general office administration to ensure continuity and effective workflow.
- Provides administrative support to the Associate Superintendents and assigned department staff, including preparing correspondence, reports, and other materials, some of which may be confidential in nature.
- Assists in budget preparation, monitoring and revision of assigned accounts; utilizes finance software to review and ensure accuracy of expenditures and budget balances. Communicates with appropriate staff regarding budget variances, account errors, and adjustments.
About You
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional post-secondary coursework preferred.
- Two or more years of office and administrative support experience, comparable experience may be considered.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
