Warehouse Inventory Support Specialist (SAP)
Position Summary
The Warehouse Inventory Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role focuses on cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and monitoring inbound and put-away activities to ensure materials are properly received, stored, and recorded in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory processes
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain high accuracy levels
- Monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials
- Support and verify proper put-away of goods within the warehouse
- Update and maintain inventory records in SAP, ensuring data integrity
- Assist with inventory adjustments and transaction processing in SAP
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to resolve issues
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory control and warehouse processes
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory management standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry, reporting)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
