Job Summary:
The Nursing Documents Administrative Assistant functions as a Nursing Documents
Department staff member and the interdisciplinary clinical patient care team, within an
infusion pharmacy office setting. Responsible for managing nursing documentation
received from our contracted agencies and field nurses in collaboration with infusion office
pharmacists, Intake team members, Nursing Case Managers, Nursing Coordinators,
Accounts Payable Department, and Billing Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor Nurse Line to retrieve invoices, corresponding nursing documentation, and
field nurses’ verbal reports.
- Organize agency invoices with required information to prepare for Nurse Documents
Coordinators’review process.
- Update Invoice Tracker to correlate with Accounts Payable.
- Scan invoices to Accounts Payable.
- Upload Nursing Documentation and maintain client records efficiently and
accurately.
- Utilize ICRX Health Platform to prepare client visit information for Billing
Department.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to approve invoices for payment.
- Utilizes well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and
office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision
requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to
adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with
