What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Manager position at Infrastructure Equipment Group?
The Yard Manager role operates as the first line supervisor of the truck wash bay team in manner that ensures schedules, quality and production while projecting a professional company. The Yard Manager also organizes and oversees the storage of vehicles throughout the property in an orderly fashion consistent with company goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Maintains a safe/organized work area to limit risk of accidents or injuries.
· Oversees the cleaning of vehicles for pictures, mechanical service, paint & body service and/or delivery to customer.
· Coordinates the check-in and photography of vehicles upon delivery from transport.
· Organizes vehicle inventory in accordance with prescribed layout so that sales and service personnel can quickly locate vehicles.
· Oversees the wash bay team in their cleaning and detailing of vehicles in timely and quality manner to ensure company standards are met.
· Coordinates with management on employee issues so that the managers can resolve them in timely and effective manner.
· Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
