What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Investment Associate, Infrastructure position at Infrassocs?
The Client:
We are partnering with a leading global infrastructure investor looking to hire an AVP to join its New York team. The platform focuses on direct lending across core infrastructure sectors, including energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure, with a strong track record of deploying capital across both investment-grade and value-add opportunities. This is an opportunity to join a well-established team with consistent deal flow and exposure to high-quality sponsors and complex transactions.
About the Role:
- Lead and support underwriting and execution of infrastructure debt investments across the full deal lifecycle
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and perform in-depth credit analysis
- Conduct due diligence on assets, sponsors, and counterparties across multiple sectors
- Support structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare investment memos, credit materials, and internal approval documentation
Required Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, leveraged finance, or private credit
- Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills
- Experience working on debt transactions within energy and/or infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Based in New York or willing to relocate
