Electrical CAD Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Designer to support the design and drafting of electrical systems for hyperscale data center and modular EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SolidWorks (required), AutoCAD, and electrical design documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, panel layouts, cable routing diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
- Support engineering teams by troubleshooting and updating designs as needed.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with customer requirements, engineering standards, and QA/QC processes.
- Coordinate with engineers, vendors, clients, and third-party design teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Electrical Design/CAD drafting.
- Experience in hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, or modular EPC projects.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (required), AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Experience creating electrical schematics, panel drawings, cable schedules, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEC, OSHA, and IBC standards.
- Technical certification in Electrical Design or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, and SAP experience.
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) documentation experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
