Location Dallas TX – all 5 days onsite
Duration 12 months
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality goals.
- Implement and optimize automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain test documentation including plans, cases, and reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Overall 10 years of QA with 5 years of experience in automation and a strong focus on JavaScript.
- Hands-on expertise with modern testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Mocha, Jasmine).
- Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or Supertest.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of version control systems (Git).
