Pay Rate: $18.00 to $19.26/hr.

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products for quality, ensuring packaging meets standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of products to verify quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications using production documents and technical knowledge.
• Operate packaging equipment efficiently, ensuring products are securely packed according to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting and proper use of material handling equipment such as forklifts when required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with industrial equipment and packaging machinery to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA standards.
• Interpret production documents accurately, including assembly instructions and quality control checklists.
• Support warehouse operations by managing materials handling tasks and ensuring proper storage of finished goods.

Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing facilities or packaging environments is highly preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and packaging machinery.
• Familiarity with GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production settings.
• Ability to interpret production documents and follow detailed instructions precisely.
• Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality assessments.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus; certification preferred.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols, including heavy lifting techniques and industrial safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capability for standing, walking, lifting heavy items, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
