Senior Network Architect

Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive Senior Network Architect with strong interpersonal and Technical skills to operate a large-scale LAN/WAN network infrastructure deployed globally. The candidate will support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices. He/she will also assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices, provide network documentation, monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Fremont, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position requires working in PST time. This position may require travel to project/client location within USA..
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education..
• At least 13 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in switching/routing and LAN/WAN configuration for highly available systems for on prem and Azure datacenter.
• At least 5 year experience in managing CISCO routers/switches.
• At least 5 years’ experience in managing F5 load balancers.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in SilverPeak SD WAN.
• Experience in Plan, Design, Architecture and Deployment .
• Experience in SDWAN - Routing & Switching, BGP, IPsec.
• Experience in - MPLS, INTERNET, Broadband.
• Experience in HLD & LLD - Documentation Skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in running operations with ITIL processes / Project Management - PMP.
• Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent in Verbal, written communication.
• Creative thinking in implementing Service improvements (automation, incident reduction, etc.).
• Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies, scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the situation demands
• Experienced in running operations following ITIL processes.
• Experienced in writing RFPs solutions and presentations during client visits.
• Good in communication and in Client Interaction.
• Have good knowledge on Troubleshooting and providing speedy solution in case of failure of the applications.
• Some hands on experience with networking technologies in AWS a plus.
• Professional certification such as the CCDP, CCNP, CCDE or CCIE with an emphasis on switching, datacenters and/or security is a plus.
