Oracle Python Lead Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking an Oracle Python Lead Developer with hands onexperience. The position will primarily be responsible for development of custom IT applications catering to supply chain area for our client. The selected candidate should have good technical knowledge, analytical ability and good communication.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 Years of experience in Information Technology .
• At least 3 Years of experience working in developing Oracle pl/sql and Python applications.
• Good knowledge of Oracle pl/sql, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, db links, analytical and aggregate functions, hierarchical queries etc.
• Good hands-on experience in performance tuning concepts using hints, AWR reports, etc.
• Good hands-on knowledge of Python scripting, using pandas data frame etc.
• Should have good logical, analytical and problem-solving capability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Should be able to work in a team spread across the globe in an onsite-offshore model.
• Should be able to take proactive ownership of tasks, follow up with users or other stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge on AWS / GCP will be beneficial.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  
  

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
