Overview
Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to install, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise compute, storage, and desktop environments. Requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft, VMware, Dell, Pure Storage, and backup technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and support enterprise technology projects.
Manage and maintain system architecture, servers, storage, and cloud services.
Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed.
Create SOPs and technical documentation.
Monitor system performance, capacity, and growth.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules.
Provide technical support to staff/contractors.
Participate in system design, integrations, and upgrades.
Perform all work onsite at DTW or YIP.
Education
Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering OR HS/GED 4 years enterprise infrastructure experience.
Minimum Qualifications
4 years managing:
Microsoft Server/Services: Windows Server 2019/2022, SQL, Windows OS, M365, Defender.
Management Tools: AD, SCCM/Endpoint Manager, Intune, PowerShell.
Azure: Azure AD, CLI, Governance.
Dell Servers/Storage: PowerEdge MX740C/R660/R760, SC200, StreamVault, vxRail.
VMware: ESXi, vCenter, vSphere.
3 years managing:
Pure Storage: FlashArray X/C series, Pure1, ActiveCluster.
Backup/Recovery: Veeam Enterprise.
File/Print Services.
Data center hardware installation (rack & stack).
Preferred Skills
VMware vSAN, Wasabi, Azure Co-Pilot AI.
Certificate Authorities, DR planning/testing.
Tools: Recast, ManageEngine, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Adobe.
General knowledge of security, OCI, Linux/DevOps, containers, and emerging tech (AI/ML, IoT).
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft 365 Admin Expert
Azure Solutions Architect Expert
