Job Description:
The client is responsible for the administration and oversight of Medicaid initiatives, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements while coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and government partners. This role manages program agreements, project execution, reporting, and stakeholder communications to support successful Medicaid data exchange initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, execution, and oversight of Advance Planning Documents (APDs), contracts, MOAs, MOUs, BAAs, and related program agreements.
• Coordinate efforts across NC HIEA, NC DHHS, vendors, and internal teams to ensure program objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
• Develop scopes of work, budgets, project plans, and data exchange frameworks.
• Monitor project implementation, budgets, staffing, procurements, and compliance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
• Facilitate program governance, project meetings, and progress reporting for state and federal partners.
• Serve as the primary liaison and representative for the Medicaid program with government agencies and stakeholder organizations.
• Evaluate vendor solutions and support procurement activities to meet program needs.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in:
o Contract development, administration, and monitoring.
o Budget development and financial oversight.
o Data governance and health information exchange compliance.
o Cross-functional program coordination and staffing.
o Vendor evaluation and management.
o Project monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid programs, project management, and state/federal regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
