Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Pay Rate: $35/Hr
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Irvine, CA
Shift: 8 AM -5 PM
Our client is a global industrial and consumer products manufacturer.
We are looking for a Product Development Technician.
- Conduct experiments and perform a variety of technical procedures in the development of materials for electronics applications.
- Work on special PD development projects as guided by supervisors; Strong laboratory and research skills: compliance with all safety regulations, sound lab technique, and good record-keeping
- Gather and analyze data using the Albert digital system and provide fast communications to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Polymer Materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a team or independently and perform assignments with limited supervision.
- Hands-on experience and enjoys working with machines and tools, and coming up with new ideas.
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and well-organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills: MS Office
- Self-Starter; collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
- Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet work deadlines
