Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Wet Chemistry)
Pay Rate: $27/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Newark, DE (Onsite)
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM
This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician.
- Supports testing on clinical analyzers to provide assistance for production support and complaint investigation, which is critical to ensure the supply chain requirements.
- Works with biochemists in a wide variety of routine technical assignments.
- You will prepare buffers and reagent formulations as necessary.
- Performs routine testing or investigations for raw materials or final products using various instruments.
Requirements:
- Associates or BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry
- Minimum of 2 years of college or an Associate’s degree.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience required.
- Internship experience in manufacturing or labs is acceptable
- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques used in a chemistry lab (pH, pipetting, handling of chemicals, and controlled substances);
- Experience with automated immunoassay analyzers and/or ELISA and chemiluminescent technology is a plus.
- Possess strong computer skills, good communication, and interpersonal skills; Strong player in a team setting, flexible and willing to learn and change.

- SAP (trainable)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and strong Excel)
- Ability to manage high-volume testing, Technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong work ethic, must be flexible, and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs
- Understand and comply with the Quality System Regulation and OSHA safety requirements; Requires basic knowledge of GMP regulations (GLP and GDP); Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IVDD
