Work Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A) - 7:30 am-4:00 or 5:00 pm

Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support equipment and facility operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing machinery and related systems, with a strong emphasis on mechanical and pneumatic equipment. The successful candidate will be comfortable interpreting technical drawings and schematics, using hand and power tools, and working safely around specialized industrial systems. This role is best suited for an experienced technician who can work independently while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic equipment to identify the source of operational problems.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and plant equipment.
• Inspect equipment periodically to identify conditions that could result in failures or production interruptions.
• Repair, adjust, replace, and restore mechanical components and equipment as required.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance and repair activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Diagnose equipment problems using technical documentation, specifications and physical inspection.
• Support maintenance activities involving multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical and facility-related systems.
• Perform equipment repairs and maintenance in accordance with established safety practices.
• Perform maintenance activities in both indoor and outdoor environments when required.
• Communicate completed work, equipment conditions, and maintenance issues to appropriate team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace or a closely related industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance and equipment repair experience.
• Demonstrated experience with pneumatic systems and pneumatic equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a maintenance environment.
• Ability to safely work around high-pressure and combustible gases.
• Ability to work independently and follow established safety and maintenance procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document and explain maintenance work performed.
• Welding, brazing, and/or soldering experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where occasional schedule flexibility may be required.
• Ability to perform work indoors and outdoors throughout the year as required by the position.
