Job Title: EHS Specialist
Pay Rate: $27 - $30/HR

Location: New Kensington, PA
Shift: Monday- Thursday: 7:30 am- 5 pm and Friday: 7:30 am- 12 pm
This position is for the Low- and medium-voltage motors, large drives, and the integrated motor-drive system division.
We are looking for an EHS Specialist to support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities at a manufacturing facility in New Kensington, PA. This role will focus on the day-to-day execution of EHS programs, including inspections, compliance support, and administration.
- Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, and facility walkthroughs
- Track and manage corrective actions from audits and inspections
- Maintain an active floor presence and engage with employees on EHS topics
- Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement
- Assist with incident documentation and tracking
- Assist with the development, implementation, and documentation of EHS programs
- Maintain EHS records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Support the preparation of regulatory reporting (environmental and safety)
- Assist with the preparation, coordination, and delivery of EHS training programs
- Help develop and distribute safety communications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
- 0–2 years of EHS experience (internships/co-ops acceptable)
- Basic understanding of OSHA/EPA/PADEP regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Manufacturing or industrial experience (internship or full-time)
- Exposure to ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 systems
