Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
Pay Rate: $22/Hr
Duration: 12 months
Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid - Tuesday to Thursday in office; Monday and Friday work from home)
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.
We are looking for an Customer Service Specialist supporting customer accounts through the complete order-to-delivery lifecycle while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in order management, customer service, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced environment.
This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and processes.
- Manage customer orders from entry through delivery and fulfillment
- Ensure accurate and timely order entry into SAP and internal systems
- Monitor order status using dashboards and reporting tools
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution
- Coordinate with sales, logistics, production, and finance teams to support fulfillment activities
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order updates, delays, or issues
- Maintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and transaction history
- Analyze reporting data to identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Participate in process improvement and cross-functional operational projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR equivalent work experience
- 2–5 years of experience in customer service, order management, account management, or supply chain operations
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device industries
- Experience with process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with order-to-cash processes
- Experience creating or analyzing dashboards and operational reports
- Ability to present processes and tools to customers or healthcare professionals
