This position is for the Railcar Division.
We are looking for a Commissioning Mechanic, a motivated, hands-on individual to join our team and help shape the future of rail transportation. You’ll be working on the latest Charger locomotives and Venture single-level coaches—cutting-edge diesel-electric vehicles that are connecting cities across the U.S
- .Learn to commission and support new locomotives and coaches
- .Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems
- .Use diagnostic software and schematics to solve real-world problems
- .Perform field modifications to improve performance and reliability
- .Work closely with experienced technicians and engineers
- .Document your work and contribute to continuous improvement
- .Follow safety procedures and industry best practices
.Requirements
- :A technical school diploma or equivalent (high school diploma or GED required
- )A strong interest in hands-on mechanical and electrical wor
- kA general mechanic, and/or service technician. Anyone who has experience working on any type of machinery or vehicle. For example: Cars, Trucks, Submarines, Boats, Tractors, Heavy Machinery, Welding, etc., or someone with experience working on appliances or any type of electronics
- .Also open to someone with construction or electrical experience
- .A team-oriented mindset and good communication skill
- sA valid driver’s license in good standin
