Job Title: Agentic AI Engineer
Pay Rate: $120/HR - $150/HR
Duration: 12 months
Location: Columbus, OH / Plano, TX
We are looking for an Agentic AI Engineer to build next-generation AI applications and intelligent agent workflows. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on building AI solutions, not simply using AI productivity tools. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering experience with Python and/or Java, along with hands-on experience developing applications using LLMs, APIs, and LangGraph. You will help design AI agents capable of interacting with tools, executing multi-step workflows, and supporting real-world business applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain agentic AI applications.
- Build APIs that enable AI agents and LLM-powered applications to interact with enterprise systems.
- Develop AI workflows and agent orchestration using LangGraph or similar frameworks.
- Integrate LLMs into scalable and production-ready applications.
- Develop backend services and application components using Python and/or Java.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable AI solutions.
Requirements
- 5 years of software/application development experience.
- Hands-on experience building AI/agentic AI applications.
- Experience working with LLMs and developing LLM-powered applications.
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph or comparable agent orchestration frameworks.
- Strong Python and/or Java development skills.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs/services.
- Strong understanding of software engineering, application development, and production deployment practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field preferred.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience building multi-agent AI systems.
- Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Experience integrating AI agents with enterprise APIs and external tools.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with prompt engineering, tool calling, function calling, or AI workflow orchestration.
- Experience taking GenAI/LLM applications from prototype to production.
