Duration: 13 weeks contract with possible extension
Pay rate: $55 - $65/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, demonstrating a strong ability to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments. This role involves administering medications, performing venipuncture, and providing care for patients in various settings, including inpatient units and specialized departments such as ophthalmology and sonography.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Administer medications safely and effectively while monitoring patient responses.
- Perform venipuncture for blood draws and IV access as needed.
- Assist with ventilating patients who require respiratory support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in patient education initiatives to promote health and wellness.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in dialysis procedures when necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
