Porter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of our facility. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained environment while gaining valuable experience in a professional setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance is required
• Cleans warehouse areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
• Sweeps, scrubs, and mops floors; dusts furniture and equipment
• Maintains warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly condition
• Transports or removes merchandise, removes empty pallets, and stacks them
• Organizes product within picking aisles using a tugger and/or pallet jacks between racks
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays; transports trash and waste to disposal areas
• Replenishes bathroom supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned, including loading trucks
• Shovels snow as needed
• Bales cardboard and recycles paper
• Sets up tables and chairs in the cafeteria

Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
