Radiologic Technologist
Location: Chapel Hill, NC
Shift: 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Weekly
Pay Range: $27.00 – $38.00/hr

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with departmental protocols. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Schedule:
- 12-Hour Shifts
- 36 Hours per Week
- 3 Days per Week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures following departmental protocols
- Verify patient identity, obtain relevant patient history, and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
- Review imaging orders, analyze requests, and determine appropriate imaging action plans
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment while troubleshooting technical issues when necessary
- Accurately document procedures and maintain image quality using RIS, PACS, CIS, and related systems
- Ensure all images are properly transmitted and archived in PACS
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and assist patients requiring additional support
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, students, and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
- Active registry status with continuing education maintained annually
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
