Job Summary:
Informatix is currently seeking a full time Customer Service Representative\Data Entry Specialist to work out of our Ridgeland, MS office. The Customer Service Representative\Data Entry Specialist is responsible for responding to customer inquiries and the accurate and timely data entry of payments received on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry
- Accurate data entry of payments received on a daily basis
- Ability to follow policies and procedures regarding payment posting rules and online special payment processing instructions
- Use various computer programs to perform initial research of unidentified receipts
- Provide backup to other departments, as needed
Customer Service
- Resolving customer inquiries and diagnosing, resolving, and communicating resolutions
- Delivering consistently excellent customer service, navigating systems, procedures, and other resources to provide accurate and timely resolution to customer inquiries, and documenting problem resolution and customer contact
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must be available to work 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Candidates will have:
- High School Diploma or GED certification
- Experience in a high-volume data entry environment
- Accurate and efficient 10-key skills
- Good customer service and verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated timely, consistent job attendance history
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to learn and retain policies and procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Attentive to detail and time management
- Ability to be flexible with fluctuating work volumes and commitment to get the job done
- Prior experience in a payment processing operation highly desired
- Prior experience in a call center highly desired
- Must be able to work from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
